Additional Town or County zoning review may become relevant when a project includes a new pedestal, a new accessory structure, significant exterior construction, equipment placed in a regulated setback, substantial site work, use of a public or shared area, or another property alteration governed by zoning.

An electrical permit does not replace applicable zoning approval, and zoning approval does not replace the electrical permit. Community-association approval is separate from government permitting. Property ownership and right-of-way considerations are separate from electrical-code approval.

Concealed wiring cannot be guaranteed, and expected drywall openings are discussed before work begins whenever practical.

Where included in the written estimate, removed drywall may be securely fastened back after the required electrical work and inspection. Full finishing—including tape, compound and sanding—is available separately when requested unless specifically included in the written scope.
